About With a voice like raw silk, Adora Fay manages to captivate and enchant you with every note. Raised in an African household in Copenhagen, Denmark her mother’s love of the big urban voices of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston sparked Adora’s passion for Music. A house constantly filled with music made it easy for Adora to discover her gift for performing. Using her living room as a stage she would perform numbers by the Jackson 5 along with her brothers and sisters. Not content with a permanent audience of just her family, Adora and her siblings took their act ‘on tour’ to all the other living rooms in her neighbourhood delighting and amusing all with her joy and enthusiasm for performing. In 2007 this natural talent and love for music saw Adora move from Denmark to London enabling her to develop a career as a solo artist. On the 2nd July 2012 she released Groove with Me, a five track EP laced with the sweetness of Sade, the smoothness of Jill Scott, and the sensuality of Prince. Her soulful self-penned lyrics perfectly balance the yearning and hope felt throughout life and remain embedded in you well after each track ends. The EP’s title track was treated to a Navitas Remix by CasaTech Records and has been tearing up dance floors in some of the biggest house clubs in Europe ever since. With a poise on stage that is almost regal Adora’s electrifying performances have seen her book shows in numerous venues across Denmark and the UK including the world famous Ministry of Sound nightclub.
